Dissolve and autoclave all components separately. Add agar after cooling.
Add agar after cooling. Use the respective carbon source, e.g. toluol as
vapor or salicylic acid (0.05%) to the basalmedium. Add also 50 µg/ml
tryptophan after autoclaving for better growth. Grow plasmid-bearing
strains always under selective pressure.
